Today I made a card featuring La Belle Vie,   Cricut Artise Cartridge , Birthday Card Chatter and the Love Blooms Acrylic Stamp sets For the flowers I used Cherub Pink and Primrose and for the leaf I did Green and Green Leaf. As soon as the new Close to My Heart Idea Book came out over the summer I knew I had to have the new canvas journal. However, I became stumped with how to decorate it. Thanks to pintrest though I soon discovered a great way to decorate canvas at this fabulous blog More Than Photography  and found a great technique that I just had to try. Her directions are excellent and the only thing I would add is to use lots of modge podge. Part of my tree did not adhere, but with some added embellishments it turned out. I love journals and the idea of journaling and gave this to our high school babysitter.
