Share the Seasons Card-Close to My Heart

Image
I cannot believe it has been a year since I have updated my blog! I will not go that long again! My personal resolution is to have better work/life balance during the school year so I can spend time relaxing and crafting. Close to My Heart right now is having an amazing special. The Share the Seasons  stamps and thin cuts covers both fall and winter holidays and scenes. I love how both cards turned out using only 2 different color of cardstocks and some ink pads! Stay tuned for more cards later this week.

I used the retired white shimmer trim and colored with a ShinHan Marker . I also colored the snowman with ShinHan markers.  All supplies are available from my website .

White Pines Christmas Box Card

Our power was out this past weekend and I had the opportunity to stay home from work (school cancelled for 3 days) and did a little crafting. I love the White Pines paper packet from Close to My Heart. I also love creating box cards. They look complicated, but this tutorial from SplitCoast stampers shows how quickly they can come together.  To create this card I used White Pines paper packet, White Pines Assortment, White Pines Compliments and Glacier Twine.  All supplies can be ordered here .

This month Close to My Heart is offering $5 double page layouts through Studio J . I used this special to get some Christmas layouts done from 2010. Here are the four Christmas layouts I completed over the weekend:   Not only do you get an excellent deal on layouts this month, with your purchase you will also be entered into a drawing for my Virtual Open House prizes.
