My Sunshine Blog Hop

Welcome to our April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  This month's stamp from Close to My Heart is "My Sunshine" and is available exclusively through your Close to My Heart consultant from April 1 - 30, 2013.  You can purchase this stamp set for only $5 with a qualifying purchase.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Lucy's blog – Love 2 Create.   If you came from Theo of Celebrate Crafts then you are in the right place!

I created both a card and a layout using the Bo Bunny Barefoot Word paper. What I learned though is that our ink and cardstock colors go Perfectly with Bo Bunny paper! I used our light blue card stock, white daisy cardstock and honey, lagoon, crystal blue and pear ink and finally our assorted flip flaps to add more pictures of water play. All Close to My Heart products can be purchased here.

To create the title, I cut out the title in some extra cardstock at 1 1/2" on the Cricut Artise Cartridge and then temporarily glued them down and then sponged honey ink over them. When I removed the letters, this is what was left.

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you.
