Blossom Wreath

Image
Today's Throwback Thursday project uses the retired Blossom paper pack. I have been hording the paper for a couple of years and it matches perfectly  our new basement colors! I used the retired Artiste Cricut Cartridge to cut everything out.

Jeepers Star

Image
While cleaning my craft room closet earlier this month I found a 3-D star from CTMH. I decided it was perfect to go with the Jeepers paper pack. I also added some "eyes" from the Jeepers Assortment. I used the Cricut Artistry cartridge to cut the monster and ghost.

Pond Hockey Layout

Image
Today's Throwback Thursday layout uses the Frosted paper pack from a couple of years ago. I did add the new Poppy cardstock to give a little pop of color. I used the Cricut Artbooking cartridge to cut the photo mats and brrr tab.

Winter Tubing Layout

Image
The basement remodel is taking up most of our time, but I did have some time today while my husband was wiring lights to get a few layouts done for our 2012 family album. Today I worked on January of 2012 (yes I am behind!).

This one page layout of our tubing adventures is made using the Oh Deer! paper pack and coordinating cardstock bundle and Cocoa cardstock.

Pumpkin Patch Layout

Image
I cannot believe it has been 2 months so I created a layout! August was so busy with last summer vacation, setting up my classroom and more. I love the new Jeepers paper pack and how versatile it is for all fall photos.

I used the following CTMH products for this layout:
Jeepers paper pack Blessed Beyond Measure STOM ($5 during September) Jeepers Coordinating Cardstock  Kraft cardstock  Jeepers Creepers Assortment Whisper Thick Twine

Flamingo Layout

Image
The Calypso paper pack along with the Tickled Pink Stamp and Thin Cuts were perfect for our flamingo pictures from SeaWorld!

Family Vacation-SeaWorld Layout

Image
Simon is at a summer day camp this week so I have had time to catch up on my scrapbooking. This SeaWorld layout is created using the retired Regatta paper pack and my Cricut Artbooking cartridge.

Dancing with Dale....Animal Kingdom

Image
When we went to Disney World last year my son wanted more than anything to meet Chip and Dale! We met them numerous times and different parks. However, I think Animal Kingdom was one of his favorite as he got to dance with Dale! I used the Magical paper pack and complements  from Close to My Heart along with the Disney and Friends Cartridge. I used my Cricut Artbooking cartridge to cut the mats on the 2nd page.

The title is stamp with the Amusement Park stamp set.

I hope to start scrapping our Sea World pictures later this week.

Rafiki-Animal Kingdom Layout

Image
Meeting Rafiki at Animal Kingdom was so much fun. He was friendly, funny and had the best poses. I used the Magical paper pack and complements along with a retired stamp set for the sentiment.

Magic Kingdom 1 Page Layout

Image
My scrapping mojo has finally returned! After a long end of the school year and now a couple of days into break I am finally motivated to get back into scrapping our vacation photos.

These pictures are an assortment of random photos I took at Magic Kingdom. I used the Magical paper pack and the Cricut Artistry  cartridge for the Magic Kingdom title. Mickey Mouse is cut out with the Mickey and Friends cartridge.

Honey I Shrunk the Kids!

Image
Finals are finished and the school year is over! I finally had some time this morning to work on our vacation layouts. I had pictures on my table of the Honey I Shrunk the Kids movie set at Hollywood Studios. I used the Magical paper pack along with Fern cardstock and the Stripe Embossing folder.  I used both my CTMH Cricut Artiste and the Mickey and Friends.

I am hoping to have more time later in the week to get some more vacation pictures scrapped.

Mickey & Minnie Meet and Greet

Image
Meeting Mickey & Minnie in Animal Kingdom was so much fun. I used some scraps of Babycakes I had left over. Who knew that baby paper would be a perfect match for these pictures. I used the Disney & Friends cartridge to cut all the Mickey Ears. The embellishments are from the current Magical Complements pack.

Happy Times Layout

Image
Another fun layout using the Happy Times paper pack. I am not sure what I will do this layout yet as it is a lot of pink for a family of boys! However, maybe one of my niece's birthday parties. All supplies used were from Close to My Heart:

Whisper Cardstock
Happy Times Paper Pack
Happy Times stamp set
Whisper Ink
Canary Ink
Fern Ink
Glacier Ink
Whisper Thick Twine

This paper pack can be yours for free with any $65 purchase this month. Don't wait to order yours today.

Big Smiles DisneyWorld Layout

Image
One of the best reasons to take so many pictures on vacation is that you can create a mix of one and two page layouts! I love this picture of Simon that we took on the side of the castle in the Magic Kingdom. We turned it all black and white except for blue on the castle. The Magical paper pack from Close to My Heart is perfect for this and hundreds of other pictures I have to scrap! The blue paper in the paper pack is a perfect match to the castle. I used the Disney & Friends cricut cartridge and cut the Mickey ears at 9". I used a Picture My Life card in the Magic paper pack and added strips of paper to create the banners on the side. I also used the Black Shimmer Trim and White Twine.

I am looking forward to scrapping many more pictures in the next couple of weeks.

Canary Cardstock

Florence Animal Kingdom Layout

Image
The new Florence Paper Pack available for 3 months only is perfect for our adventures at Animal Kingdom last year. The colors were so vibrant in the topiaries that the paper was perfect for these pictures. I added a piece of Whisper cardstock and 3 sequins from the Sequins Silver Assortment.
I think my scrapbook mojo may have returned so stay tuned for numerous layouts this month!

Today my G stands for Goofy. This was my son's visit with Goofy at Hollywood Studios last March. I used a variety of paper packs for this layout. I used Zoe, La Vie En Rose and Paper Fundamentals-Enchantment. I used the Mickey & Friends cartridge to create all the die cuts.

The next stop on your hop is Lauren at Lauren's CTMH Craftings.

Legoland Fun!

Image
Another vacation layout completed! Legoland had some fun rides. This is one where you steered but it was connected to a center "thing" (my very technical term). Simon had so much fun riding on it. I used my Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge. The other products used were:

Sapphire CardstockPaper Fundamentals-Enchantment Canary Cardstock Picture My Life-Childhood
All supplies can be ordered here.

Pluto at Hollywood Studios

Image
I am making slow but steady progress on our vacation layouts! This is when we met Pluto at Hollywood Studios. I used the Mickey & Friends cartridge along with the retired Chalk It Up paper to create this layout. The stars are made from the Paper Fundamentals-Enchantment pack.

ABC Blog Hop- "F" is for Florida

Image
Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!
For this hop we will be featuring the letter F. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their F element will be featured in their post.
If you came from Darlys' Crafty Happy Blog then you're on the right track!
Today my F stands for Florida Fun. This was our vacation last year when we went to the Florida Gulf Coast and played in the beautiful white sand!

I used the Cricut Artbooking cartridge along with Cocoa cardstock and patterned paper from the retired  Seaside paper pack along with the Florida stamp (all 50 states available for only $2.95 a state).

The next stop on your hop is Tonya at Heart & Soul Scrappers.
In case you get lost along the way go to Catherine Nowak's Cat Scrapbooking blog for a complete list of participants!

We hope you enjoyed our blog hop today and everything "F".

Penelope Easter Layout

Image
The March Stamp of the Month, Sunshine Birdies, and Penelope are the perfect combination to create a fun Easter layout. I have the perfect pictures from last year to put on this layout. I love how the new CTMH paper packs have two pages of Picture My Life cards. I used one for journaling and one I stamped on.

All supplies for this layout can be ordered here.

Mount Everest Expedition-Animal Kingdom-Layout

Image
I have had so much scrapping our family vacation from last year.  Tonight I found two pictures from the Mount Everest roller coast ride that the boys did. (I DO NOT like roller coasters!) The Urban paper pack along with the Cricut Artistry Cartridge.

I look forward to working on  a few more layouts this coming week.

Happy Easter-February 16

Image
I know Easter is still more than a month away, but it will be here before we know it. I had a small piece of water color painted paper left and decided the colors were perfect to create an Easter card using the Penelope paper pack.

The Spring Critter stamp set is perfect for Easter this year. The sentiments I used are from the Close to My Heart Artfully Sent cartridge.

All supplies for this card can be ordered here.

Valentines Day Treats

Image
Spring Critters was the perfect stamp set to make these cute Valentine's Treat tubes. I colored some of the animals in the CTMH watercolor pencils and some of the animals are colored with the ShinHan markers. The treat tubes are from a Close To My Heart special a couple of years ago.

ABC Blog Hop-D is for Daisy

Image
Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!
For this hop we will be featuring the letter D. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their # element will be featured in their post.
If you came from Cat's blog then you're on the right track!
For the letter "D" I chose to highlight Daisy Duck from last year's trip to Disney World. I used the Paper Fundamentals  Enchantment paper pack, Kraft cardstock along with scraps of black and pink. I also used some retired embellishments on the page.

Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is Wendy Kessler of My Scrapbooking Blog.
In case you get lost along the way go to Catherine Nowak's blog for a complete list of participants!
Image
I have been having fun scrapbooking our trip to Florida last March. The February Stamp Campaign "Share the Love" stamp set was perfect for the pictures with Stich from Lilo & Stitch. I used the Urban paper pack and complements along with the camera and speech bubble from the February Stamp to create this one-page layout.

Here is a close up of the stamps I used and cut.

Throwback Thursday Laughing Lola "Space Mountain" Layout

Image
I never thought I would find the perfect paper for the Space Mountain ride in Laughing Lola. However, the paper was perfect for the picture we received from Disney and our Disney shirts. I used the Cricut Artiste cartridge for the space ships and planets. I created the background using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge.

Tom Sawyer's Island

Image
The retired Close to My Heart Timberline paper was perfect for our vacation pictures of Tom Sawyer's Island at the Magic Kingdom. I used my Cricut Artbooking cartridge along with Ponderosa Pine and Outdoor Denim to cut the rope and titles. I also used Woodgrain Embossing folder on the Cocoa cardstock.

Legoland Robotics Layout

Image
I have found the perfect scrapbook paper from Close to My Heart for our vacation photos. The Paper Fundamentals Enchantment paper pack is PERFECT for Legoland. Of the 20 pages I have used everyone except the pink! Last weekend before football I had a few minutes to sit down and grabbed the last of our Legoland pictures.

As a family we had fun and learned so much taking a Lego robotics workshop. While it was new and my 9 year old found it frustrating it was a great experience for all of us. Here is the layout that I created using the Magic scrapbook how to book.

I had some old alphabet bubble stickers from Close to My Heart that I added to explain what was happening in each photograph. It was an easy and fun way to journal!
