Happy Mother's Day

Welcome to our April Art Philosophy/Artiste Blog Hop! As you know, both the Artiste and the Art Philosophy cartridges are available exclusively through a Close to My Heart consultant. If you don't already have a Consultant that you are currently working with, please contact one the Consultants in our hop with any questions you have!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Lucy's blog – Love 2Create. If you came from Jennifer ~ 4 Hearts Scrapbooking then you are in the right place!

Our challenge this month features not only one of these amazing cartridges but we also have a Mother's Day theme since Mother's Day is less than a month away.  I decided to create a layout of a Mother's Day outing in 2010. Here is what I came up with:

I used the following Close to My Heart supplies:

  • Make it From the Heart Vol. 1-pattern 9
  • Surf's Up paper pack
  • Surf's Up Assortment
  • Surf's Up Stickease Assortment
  • Cocoa Ink
  • Indian Corn Blue Cardstock
  • Color Ready Canvas Alphabet
  • Art Philosophy Cartridge (I used square 3 at 9" and 3" to create the two squares)

All items I used are available for purchase on my website and if you "join" my Mystery Hostess Gathering you could win $25 in free Close to My Heart products.

Here is the complete lineup in case you get lost along the way:

1.Lucy ~ Love 2 Create
2.Theodora ~ Celebrate Crafts
3.Wendy ~ My Scrapbooking Blog
4.Jennifer ~ 4 Hearts Scrapbooking
6.Stephanie Feist-YOU ARE HERE!

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you in creating your own Mother's Day projects!
