I have finally had the opportunity to play with some of the new Close to My Heart Product! Tonight I decided to play with the new My Creations ™ Muslin Drawstring Bags, Enchantment Exclusive Inks® Mini Pigment Pads Set, the March Stamp of the Month " Floral Happiness ", Acrylic Stamp Set " For a Friend " and a sheet of White Daisy cardstock. The first Drawstring bag I created I used the "Floral Happiness" stamp and Cotton Candy, Smokey Plum and Crème Brulee ink and White Daisy cardstock to create the flowers.  I then used the sentiment "Happiness is...found in the journey" and stamped in Smokey Plum on the bag. I used liquid glass to adhere the flowers to the bag.         The second bag I used the "For a Friend" Stamp Set and the Ruby Red Pigment ink to stamp this, very simple but filled with goodies will make a great gift:           When working with pigment ink I have found that blotting the ink on

What better way to spend May 4th, National Scrapbooking Day, then to scrap for a cause. Come support Camp Fire Camp Dart-Lo, the Inland Northwest Council's day camp on the Little Spokane River. We will spend 12 hours (10-10) eating, crafting, talking amongst friends and winning great prizes! I am absolutely in love with the Close to My Heart Textile fabrics. I have played with Chantilly and will be order For Always next time I place an order. Today I am using strips of fabric to create fabric flowers. Here is the final product: To create the flower I started with my liquid glass, an approximately 1 1/2" strip of fabric and a small piece of scrap paper. I first folded my fabric in half length wise, wrong sides together. I then applied a generous amount of liquid glass to the scrap paper. Then I started rolling. Your hands will get messy and you will use LOTS of liquid glass, but the result is worth it. I just rolled it up like a coil until I was happy with the size and then cut the fabric and used the remaining fabric to create a smaller flower. This type of flower is very forgiving and you can place a button in the middle to cover any imperfections.

When I first saw this stamp set I was not sure how much I would actually use it as I have one very similar. However, after creating this card I love the stamp set and cannot wait to play with it some more! The card was made with the Buzz and Bumble paper pack and Crème Brule ink, where I used second generation stamping to achieve the lighter look. Welcome to the Roxybonds Scrappers Team Blog Hop! We will be featuring artwork from the Later Sk8R Pack. If you have come here from Jen's blog , then you are on the right path. I decided to create a 3-D project  for my son's bathroom. My goal is to write a note to him every morning! Besides the Later Sk8R paper I used the My Creations Bracket Frame,   Chalkboard Paper , Dimensional Elements Banner  and some retired Rub-ons from Close to My Heart. To stamp my son's name I used the Token Alphabet Stamp Set and Outdoor Denim Ink . The entire project took me no more than 30 minutes and less than $20 to create and of course I have plenty of extra embellishments for another project! I created this recipe box  for our exchange student for Christmas (yes a little late in posting but better late than never!).     I used the following Close to My Heart items (but you can use any paper and embellishments you have)   Elemental (retired)  Color Ready Canvas Alphabet Wooden Shapes (retired) Olive Ink Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge The flowers are cut at 3" from the Art Philosophy Cartridge and the tag in the front is cut at 1 3/4".

This is my page kit of the month for March. Even though I do not have a girl, I am enjoying playing with Chantilly . It is such a versatile paper pack and I can see family Easter pictures in this layout. Not only did I use the Close to My Heart Chantilly paper pack, I also used the Chantilly Textiles and the silver glitter paper to create this two page layout inspired by the Close to My Heart Make It From Your Heart book. To create the fabric flower I folded my fabric in half lengwise and then wound it in a circle around a piece of scrap paper that had a glob of liquid glass on it. It went together super easy!
