I am loving how versatile the Close to My Heart Sarita paper is. For this layout I used my Close to My Heart Artbooking Cartridge to cut out the haunted house and fence and then used the Creepy Creatures CTMH acrylic stamp set to add bats and a mouse. I used Honey cardstock for my base as I liked the way it complimented the Outdoor Denim Blue. Here it is: You can order everything to complete this layout on my website .

The Sarita paper pack is one of Close to My Heart's new paper packs. It has some fabulous color combinations, Outdoor Denim, Lagoon, Gypsy, Goldrush, and Cotton Candy.     For the first layout I also added the Outdoor Denim Chevron Ribbon.            For the second layout I used the Sarita textiles  to create the flower and Tiny Epoxy Alphabet to add titles to the photo mats.       To create this flower I got out my sewing machine! I put a large basting line (meaning I put my machine at a 2" stitch length and sewed right down the middle) and then pulled the bottom thread and scrunched the fabric up. After that I took a small square of scrap paper, applied a large amount of Liquid Glass and scrunched the fabric up. This layout was created using the new Laughing Lola  paper pack from Close to My Heart and the new Cricut Artbooking Cartridge . To create the layout I cut the back overlay's using page 80 (Teen Layout) at 11" and the photo mats from page 85 (Nursery Layout) also at  11". As soon as I saw the new Close to My Heart Idea Book, I know the Designed Décor Frame Kit was going to be one of the first things I ordered. Here is what I created: Order now and I will help you complete it at my free crop on Friday September 13th.

We are all busy people. We go numerous different directions at the same time and rarely make time for yourself. However, if you don't preserve your families memories how will anyone see them for generations to come? I can answer that one easily: get organized, create kits, and put yourself first! Now that you have purged your craft space and prepared page kits you are ready to print pictures and scrap! Depending on your set up you will either print pictures as you scrap or do this as a two step process and print pictures and then scrap. So now you have your pictures in hand and you grab a kit that has paper you like, you follow your sketch/pattern/idea with the kit and create your layout! How long this takes depends on your scrapping style and how many embellishments you add. This should not take more than an hour for most people.
