Sympathy cards are the hardest cards for me to make. I had to make two cards this week. One I had been needing to make for a couple of weeks now, but it was too hard. A friend from high school's 10 year old past away. After consulting with some friends I decided to do a non-traditional sympathy card and used the Bo Bunny Blast Off line and my Artise Cricut Cartridge to create the card. The other card is for a friend whose twenty year old nephew died of a stroke. I used the Bo Bunny Timeless line and my Artise Cricut Cartridge to create that card too. I love Fall, more than any other time of year. One of the best parts of fall is that I have more time to scrap again! I am starting 3 scrapbook clubs this fall. Here they are: 1. Traditional Thursday Night Scrap Club . This will be held the 1st Thursday of each month from 6:30-8:00. Workshops on the Go (WOTG) are a fabulous item that Close to My Heart has created to help make your scrapbooking even quicker and easier while still giving it a personalized, creative and beautiful look. I compare WOTG with quilt kits, almost everything you need from start to finish is included. Close to My Heart's Workshop on the go include paper, embellishments, a stamp set and instructions. All you need are acrylic blocks, ink and paper trimmer to complete multiple layouts along with additional projects or cards. I completed the Footloose WOTG for August and love the summer feel it has. Nothing says you care about someone more than a personal, handmade card. Whether you are sending them a card just because, birthday, thank you or sympathy, this workshop has the cards for you. On July 24th from 6:00-9:00 you can create as many cards as you can in this 3 hour period. Pizza dinner will also be provided. The cost of the workshop is $20 and all you have to bring is adhesive. I love to quilt and play with paper and fabric. However, sewing is stressful for me if I have to do anything other than a straight line in a quilt block! I have a great friend though who has a birthday coming up and she is a cake decorator and I believe all good cake decorators need an apron. So on to Pintrest I went to find the perfect apron pattern. I immediately fell in love with the Krista Apron and set out to recreate it. My first stop was to The Top Stitch quilt store in Spokane, Washington. I found the perfect dot and solid fabric. I did learn I need to make more aprons so they go quicker and I get better on my ruffles. I also need to find a new model because I am to short and squaty! But today I will have to do, so here is my finished apron:

First, I have to thank of Gerriann Armstrong of  Scrapbooking & Stamping Creations  for this fabulous idea. Her video was great on how to put this awesome gift idea together. Here is the final my product: I used these Close to My Heart Products: Art Philosophy Cartridge Dotty for You paper Sweet Leaf Cardstock Lagoon Ink Cocoa Cardstock Supplies: Box from CTMH Collage Cubes 2 pieces of cardstock 2 pieces of chipboard cut to 9x9 Ink Modge Podge or other adhesive Misc. supplies to decorate the top of the box. Cut the cardstock approximately 1/2" larger than your chipboard and wrap the cardstock around your chipboard: You will do this twice. After that I chose to cover my cardstock with patterned paper (even though most of it will be covered with the box I wanted a finished look. At this point I inked my collage cube box so it was not a bright white. I used Lagoon Ink: Now it is time to adhere your bottom piece of covered chipboar
