The basement remodel is taking up most of our time, but I did have some time today while my husband was wiring lights to get a few layouts done for our 2012 family album. Today I worked on January of 2012 (yes I am behind!). This one page layout of our tubing adventures is made using the Oh Deer! paper pack and coordinating cardstock bundle and Cocoa cardstock.

Dancing with Dale....Animal Kingdom

Image
When we went to Disney World last year my son wanted more than anything to meet Chip and Dale! We met them numerous times and different parks. However, I think Animal Kingdom was one of his favorite as he got to dance with Dale! I used the Magical paper pack and complements  from Close to My Heart along with the Disney and Friends Cartridge. I used my Cricut Artbooking  cartridge to cut the mats on the 2nd page. The title is stamp with the Amusement Park stamp set. I hope to start scrapping our Sea World pictures later this week.

Honey I Shrunk the Kids!

Finals are finished and the school year is over! I finally had some time this morning to work on our vacation layouts. I used the Magical paper pack along with Fern  cardstock and the Stripe Embossing folder.  I used both my CTMH Cricut Artiste and the Mickey and Friends. I am hoping to have more time later in the week to get some more vacation pictures scrapped.

I used the Disney & Friends cartridge to cut all the Mickey Ears. The embellishments are from the current Magical Complements pack.

Big Smiles DisneyWorld Layout

Image
One of the best reasons to take so many pictures on vacation is that you can create a mix of one and two page layouts! I love this picture of Simon that we took on the side of the castle in the Magic Kingdom. We turned it all black and white except for blue on the castle. The Magical paper pack from Close to My Heart is perfect for this and hundreds of other pictures I have to scrap! The blue paper in the paper pack is a perfect match to the castle. I used the Disney & Friends cricut cartridge and cut the Mickey ears at 9". I used a Picture My Life card in the Magic paper pack and added strips of paper to create the banners on the side. I also used the Black Shimmer Trim and White Twine. I am looking forward to scrapping many more pictures in the next couple of weeks.

The March Stamp of the Month, Sunshine Birdies , and Penelope  are the perfect combination to create a fun Easter layout. I have the perfect pictures from last year to put on this layout. The Spring Critter stamp set is perfect for Easter this year. The sentiments I used are from the Close to My Heart Artfully Sent cartridge. All supplies for this card can be ordered here .

Spring Critters  was the perfect stamp set to make these cute Valentine's Treat tubes. I colored some of the animals in the CTMH watercolor pencils  and some of the animals are colored with the ShinHan markers. The treat tubes are from a Close To My Heart special a couple of years ago.

Legoland Robotics Layout

Image
I have found the perfect scrapbook paper from Close to My Heart for our vacation photos. The Paper Fundamentals Enchantment  paper pack is PERFECT for Legoland. Of the 20 pages I have used everyone except the pink! Last weekend before football I had a few minutes to sit down and grabbed the last of our Legoland pictures. As a family we had fun and learned so much taking a Lego robotics workshop. While it was new and my 9 year old found it frustrating it was a great experience for all of us. Here is the layout that I created using the Magic  scrapbook how to book. I had some old alphabet bubble stickers from Close to My Heart that I added to explain what was happening in each photograph. It was an easy and fun way to journal!
