The Quilted Scrapper

We had the most amazing vacation last March when we had the opportunity to spend 2 weeks in Orlando Florida. Needless to say I have hundreds (maybe thousands) of photos. These three picture from the "Tree of Life" at Animal Kingdom were perfect for the CTMH Paper Enchantment Fundamental papers. I used a sketch that was available from CTMH in November during one of their campaigns. I look forward to hopefully getting a few more layouts done this month from our trip.

December flew by and I did not get near as many projects done as I had anticipated. I am glad there is still a week left to see what I can do during Christmas break. I started the White Pines Workshop on the Go  at the beginning of December and finally finished it tonight. I was fortunate to have pictures to put on the layout and this completed scrapbooking 2011!!!    I love how easily the Workshops on the Go from Close to My Heart go together and include everything you need, directions, paper, embellishments and stamps.  This great kit is only available until December 31, 2015 so orders yours here today. 

The December stamp of the month has so many different possibilities.  I used the jar to create two very different cards. One I used with the flowers and one with the candle.  For this card I used the Zoe  paper packet, Poppy Thick Twine  and ShinHan alcohol markers.  This card used the Purple Glitter Paper For this card I used ShinHan makers to color the candle. I love the versatility of the December Stamp of the Month. I love all the stamps, but the lights are one of my favorite pieces. In order to prepare for the influx of Christmas I went ahead and created some thank you notes to have on hand. Creating this Christmas cards was so easy, but look very classy. This is the first Christmas I have had co-workers since I started making cards so I am having fun creating cards this year. I used a piece of Cranberry card stock, black shimmer trim ,the Reindeer Bell stamp set and black ink. I used some old ribbon slides I had to create Santa's buckle.

  I have had so much fun creating Christmas cards this holiday season. This card was made using the White Pines paper pack, Christmas Post  stamp set and Hand-Letter Christmas . I used the retired white shimmer trim and colored with a ShinHan Marker . I also colored the snowman with ShinHan markers.  All supplies are available from my website . 

Our power was out this past weekend and I had the opportunity to stay home from work (school cancelled for 3 days) and did a little crafting. I love the White Pines paper packet from Close to My Heart. I also love creating box cards. I had so much fun creating this BOO with some letters from Hobby Lobby and the Nevermore paper packet. I also used some of the Nevermore Complements . To add more detail I used the Cricut Artbooking Cartridge to cut the haunted house and spider web.

I have had so much fun playing with the new Close to My Heart Artistry cartridge. I used the new Sangria paper to make this card. To create the wreath I cut it at RDS 4" and to cut the acorns I had to pull out the Art Philosophy Cartridge from CTMH and cut them at 1".

I created these treat bags using the Cricut Artfully sent cartridge and the Nevermore paper packet. I created a sleeve at 4" and instead of putting a card in it I will put candy in it for my son's teachers at school! I love Close to My Heart for so many reasons, one is that I can use the Cricut Cartridge Artfully Sent  to create my own Picture My Life cards to use in scrapbooking. I used the Nevermore  paper packet along with the Steampunk Scoundrel stamp set.

I finally had a few spare moments to scrap this past weekend. I was a little hesitant at first about the Sangria paper packet and if I could successfully use it with boy pictures. However, after finding these fall pictures from 2012, I realized I could pull off the purple in the Sangria and create this great layout. I even used the Paper Garden, September Stamp of the Month, to create flowers that are stamped in Sunset for a little more "boy" in the layout.  The Paper Garden flowers from cut from the Cricut Artiste cartridge while the title "My Sunshine" is cut at 2" from the Cricut Artbooking Cartridge. The pattern is from the Magic  pattern
